Supporting Other Ministries!

  • Mood:
What does Lisa and her family do when she's not singing?  Visit other ministries, of course!  You would think that John, Lisa and their kids would just sit at home on a weekend off from traveling, but NO...they fellowship with other churches, gospel groups and friends! The most recent trip was to Jeffersonville, IN to hear "The Gospel Train" http://www.thegospeltrain.com/.  Gospel Train's unique blend of classic rock with today's #1 gospel songs make for an uplifting, energizing concert!
Another day off gave the Herald's the opportunity to be in worship service with "Warriors for Christ" in Indianapolis, IN.  Pastor Mike Long brings a street ministry approach inside the church doors and helps all regardless of their past.  He truly believes that the Blood cleans and forgets All sin!
Now, last but not least Lisa and her family enjoyed Crosswalk's http://www.crosswalktheband.com/ CD release concert!  Crosswalk takes their own lyrics and mixes them with a band sound that is unbelievable.  However, one thing that Lisa thinks makes this band so special is their keyboards!  They seem to give the band that special touch that brings you right into true Praise and worship!
If you're wondering why a journal about Lisa Herald's ministry is telling you about other ministries, well its not about Lisa Herald, its about THE MINISTRY!  His Ministry!  It's about helping others and spreading the good news everywhere you go!  So, step outside you comfort zone.  On a free evening swing by another church.  Go to a Christian concert different from all your CD's in the car.  Who knows you may just be blessed and make a friend or two.  Lisa and her family sure did!
